
INVITRO EXPOSURE
MedTec Biolabs
MedTec has developed a new line of in vitro exposure systems to satisfy the demand for in vitro toxicity testing. Their superior in vitro exposure systems simplify the process for conducting exposure of cells at the air-liquid interface. These systems were designed with the user in mind by providing a versatile design; small foot-print; and effective delivery of gases, vapors, particles and aerosols onto cultured cells.


Celtox Sampler
The CelTox Sampler is a compact, user-friendly devices designed for air-liquid interface toxicity testing. It deliver gases, vapors, particles, and aerosols onto cultured cells with precise temperature and humidity control, enhancing cell viability. Applications span emissions, bioaerosols, nanomaterials, and drug delivery.
Humidifiers
MedTec Biolab offers advanced humidifiers designed for medical and laboratory environments. These devices ensure precise humidity control, enhancing air quality and patient comfort. Features include ultrasonic technology for efficient moisture distribution, compatibility with oxygen therapy systems, and durable, autoclavable components for easy sterilization.


Dryers
MedTec Biolab offers standard and diffusion dryers designed for CelTox Sampler systems, effectively removing moisture to prevent condensation-related equipment issues. These dryers use color-changing silica beads housed in clear tubes for easy monitoring and reusability. They support 2.0 L/min flow rates and can be customized with various tube fittings.
Sensors
MedTec Biolab's T-RH Sensors are compact, in-line temperature and humidity sensors designed to maintain optimal conditions (~37°C and >75% RH) for cultured cells during in vitro exposure. Housed in Delrin plastic with digital RS-232 output, they support data logging via Windows or LabView software. Customizable options include analog output, stainless steel housing, and various fittings.


Scrubbers
MedTec Biolab offers refillable scrubbers in two sizes, filled with activated carbon filters, designed to remove pollutants from air in lab setups. Suitable for use with the CelTox Sampler, they can purify ambient air for testing or serve as a clean air source. Optional particle filters and silica beads enable VOC, particulate, and humidity removal.
TEER Control
MedTec’s TEER Control Test Resistors module provides researchers with a multi-point validation tool to ensure accuracy in TEER measurements. Unlike single-resistor controls, this module includes four resistance values—200, 500, 1000, and 2000 ohms—allowing for more reliable quality control and calibration of TEER devices used in cellular barrier studies.
